John Eisner

John has been a member of GSTC for 3 years, a board member for the past 2 years, and is currently the Vice President of the Club.  He is no stranger to triathlons, having competed in the sport for 18 years, and more often than not places in his age group.  He was an Ironman Florida finisher in 2004, and in 2005 and 2006 finished the Survival of the Shawangunks, an 8 stage wilderness event held in New York State, consisting of a 30 mile road bike, 4.5 mile run, 1.1 mile swim, 5.5 mile run, .5 mile swim, 8.5 mile run, .5 mile swim and a .7 mile run.

John lives in Meredith, with his wife Kathleen, daughter Kristen and 2 golden retrievers.   He is a partner in the law firm of Burke & Eisner, and is also a spin instructor at the Laconia Athletic and Swim Club.  John credits any small success he has achieved in racing, to his running partner (identity withheld), who pushes him to extremes.
